The big question that is unasked and unanswered: "how can you purport to stand for a set of values when you front and center brand yourselves with a company that stands so starkly opposite those values?" I don't want to hear how much we stand for something when our shirt says we don't.

They just don't get it. The fist thing anyone will see when they see a Sounders shirt is a stark symbol that tells LGBTQ+ and women that their choices and lives are not their own. No amount of feel good PR equine scatology will erase that fact. There's no "context" in which this is anything but selling out those values. End of.
